About Me

Hi I’m Sheryl McAlhaney

Life is full of changes, unexpected disruptions, and daily stressors that can make it feel overwhelming. I'm here to provide the support you need to navigate these difficulties, helping to ease the effects of challenges such as depression, anxiety, grief, and the fear of uncertainty about what comes next. Together, we'll work on building positive coping skills and strategies that can improve your mood, foster positive thinking, and boost your confidence. Additionally, I can help you develop skills in anger management and assertive communication, empowering you to face life's challenges with greater resilience.

My approach is person-centered, meaning that I focus on you as an individual, tailoring our sessions to meet your unique needs. I strive to create a safe and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel comfortable expressing yourself. In our sessions, I often utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a proven method to help you reshape your thoughts and behaviors for a more fulfilling life.

You don't have to face these challenges alone. I would be honored to walk with you on your healing journey. Please don't hesitate to reach out and schedule an appointment today.
